Black Widdow
Black widows hide behind webs of steel, only coming out to devour a sure prey. Mea Culpa’s newest release is true to its namesake. From behind the veil from the amazing hat, decorated on top with black lilies and from the edges with prismatic crystal drops, is one amazing outfit.
From the central dress, richly embroidered with black and silver strands, emanate spines with sheer panels which spread out like an orbital web, calling you into the center. The silver collar piece and silver bodice closures hint at the risk inherent. This piece, like so many from Mea Culpa, is a juxtaposition of beauty and danger; it’s not for the faint of heart. But taking the plunge, oh what a delight.
The middle bodice is sheer damask type fabric with silver accents above and below the waist. The skirt prims are sheer, to better enhance the view of the swirling patterns.
From the back, you can see that the hat is in fact attached to the spine of the dress, providing another bit of surprise of strength and comparison with exoskeleton creatures of the night.
To accent an outfit this powerful calls for strong accessories. Tukinowaguma’s Flame (C) in Silver metallic textures coordinates with the silver of the dress, while the [White~Widow – Face Tattoo] Marguerite Silver (right only) mirrors the florals of the dress. Black widows are known for their red accents, so the red earrings and ring provide the needed bit of red. The CCD bracelet mirrors the hanging prisms.
What could be more fitting to a Black Widdow dress than PREDATOR shoes? Mea Culpa is now branching out into footwear, and the collection is amazing! These use the new alpha layer, so they need to be used with 2.0 (but you really have to use that for the amazing features, tattoos, and now shoes).
Mea Culpa is taking on the grid strongly with amazing designs for your body and now your feet. Watch out you don’t get bit along the way…they are intoxicating!
