Fellini Couture: Poem

Fellini Couture’s newest gown, Poem, is as much a visual delight as poetry.  The dress is resplendent with delicate paper-thin blossoms, luminescent pearls, silk and satin fabric, and draped gauze.  The headpiece, and skirt are accented with light sprays of golden stamens and pink pistels.

The beauty begins with the bougainvillea blooms on the head, and continues with the sweet brooch of golden twisted into a double loop and accented with 3 pearls and symmetrical petals.  The upper bodice is beautifully draped and accented in its entirety with pearls, which look like they have just come out of the sea into the morning dew.  The bodice is a beautiful fuchsia silk in a crossed pattern.  The gloves are soft rosy pink with creamy white, tying in all of the shades of pink.

The White~Widow Face Tattoo of Dionee in Gold picks up the colour from the centers of the blooms, whilst the Donna Flora Spring necklace brings in all of the colours together.  The gold and pearls are seen again in the necklace, whilst the pinks are presented in the Baiastice Pulchra make up5.

The overall shape of the gown is that of overlapping petals, with long strands of dark vines reaching from the waist to the floor.  There is a soft underskirt of diaphanous pale pink, which barely reveals the golden Stiletto Moody Bare Elizabeth shoe peeking out.  The scattering of the blooms is perfection, and the size of the pearls is proportionate to their placement, becoming larger at the hemline.

The gown does not skimp on beauty from the back, so that you need not worry about being seen from all angles.  The many toned rose coloured skirt is slightly darker at the hemline, fading back to the fuchsia of the main bodice.

Fellini Couture has produced another brilliant piece of wearable couture art.  The details are well thought out, the construction flawless, unique, and stunning.  Fellini  Couture delights again.

A Simple Rose

Author: Kevan Mends

A simple rose I have found
It’s not the flower that grows from the ground,
Its beauty is one of such delight …
This rose is soft to the touch in all its perfection.

The envy for all the flowers in this garden
Its fragrance will consume your every obsession.
This rose must be a gift, a gift from above
A gift from Heaven to show us love.

Every morning I wake to see its petals glisten
Its easy to see how one could be so smitten
If love was a rose it would shine so bright
Because all I need is this rose in my life.
