Precious Stones

Fellini Couture’s Precious Stones is a stunning blend of airy pink silk chiffon, diamond encrusted embroidery, black lace and silk, silver corset and headpiece work, black feathers, and sculpted roses.  Only Joy Fellini can combine all of these many elements into a garment that is at once charming, feminine, stylish, and beautiful.  The garment is at once gown and lingerie elements combined, but with a result that surpasses each and is thus unique, as are all of Joy Fellini’s designs.

Black and pink are classic contrasting colours, being very feminine and yet strong simultaneously.  The diamonds add a beautiful elegance to the gown.  The sculpted roses seen on the sleeves above the lace and again on the headpiece are symbols of love, another reminder of the gown’s homage to all that it means to be a woman.  In addition, the sculpts of the corset and headpiece add the strength element of being a woman, but always with a girlish way, thanks to the diamond additions.

The yards and yards of pink silk chiffon move wonderfully as you walk, creating swirls of beauty everywhere.  The silk arm pieces extending from the lovely lace work accentuate the style, a bit reminiscent of old style dressing gowns, but very much updated. The flounces at the waistline add more bits of feminineness to the gown as well.  The dress is sheer in places, but always tastefully so.  Just a hint of legs can be seen peeking through the silk hem.  Stiletto Moody Kim shoes in Nude add to, but do not distract from, the gown.

From head to toe, this gown is a marvel of craftsmanship and ode to femininity. This is classic beauty at its finest.

The headpiece is seen here such that you can see the details of the sculpted roses, gemstone encrusted original sculpted fretwork-like silver adornment, and the lovely black peacock feathers which encircle the head.  [White~Widow] – Face Tattoo] Champagne Pink seems the perfect finishing touch for this look, on Baiastice’s Pulchra-porcelaine-make up24 RD + hair.  Tukinowaguma’s Anita hair allows the face to be seen, but provides a nice updo when seen from behind.

The back of this gown is also stunning, as Joy pays attention to the details that make all sides of you look your feminine best.
